Please tell me, as an American (woman) is it 'safe' to travel to Iran? I've been longing to go for such a long time. I dated an Iranian (Jew) back in the 1980's! I still remember a few things :o)) By the way, I would love to wear the hijab (did I spell it properly :o?

Its totally safe to be in Iran as a foreigner . Foreigners actually get a lot of attention in Iran and people like to talk with them especially Americans and English speaking people fascinates Iranians .

And you spelt it correctly if hijab is at all in the English language :)

Will it be safe to travel Iran on September?? Since Air Asia began to fly to Tehran, it became very easier and cheaper to go to Iran..But it flies 3 times a week so I thinking of booking flight right now if I'll be able to go. But I'm really concerned about how jasmine revolution affects Iran....
