'Poochi'Venkat, Ramki and I spent a few hours at Saidapet, enjoying the evening batch of trains from and to Chennai Egmore. The first catch of the day was the recently introduced Chennai - Rameswaram Exp.. WDM2 #18787 was in charge of the 19-coach train.

  • Nice catch. Its a rare video of a BG train to RMM!

  • Thanks!

  • @hitmanranjeet Why are there bars over the windows ? What if the train crashes ?

  • @soshmed1943 Good question! Every coach has an emergency window without bars.

  • nice one ! I like the quiet station atmosphere... btw I loved the old livery of Erode diesels..I am disappointed that they have now painted almost every loco of theirs in WDM-3D colours

  • Thanks!

  • superb video!!!

  • No special reason. I find the whole humanity funny. That's why I avoid public places like platforms or else I can't stop laughing. When you see humans running here and there. struggling hard like a slave from 9-5 to pay their bills and pills, I find it very hard not to smile !!! And in that process they are unaware, that death is lurking around the corner and strikes at the least expected moment. After 228 disappeared, now another 150 disappeared. Isn't that funny? Some were dreaming.
