  • I used to work for Labor Ready. I met some pretty sketched out people there. There was this one guy named Crazy Dave who was, errm, 'interesting'.

Labor Ready is garbage. You work your ass off and get paid next to nothing. They take advantage of people who are down on their luck, and that's just wrong.

  • I've worked at labor ready, made a few bucks to help pay school tuition.. This video is garbage. It's a rant agaisnt the working poor-people who WANT to work, who aren't lazy but willing to do some hard jobs for a meager wage and what do they get? Jerks calling them criminals, drunks and poor role-models for the school children. These people in the video are the real problem, hating working class poor people and labeling them with their ignorance. Shame on them.

  • Um, if they put a hiring agency there it could decrease the amount of drug dealers in that area. So, why are people living in fantasy land?

  • Sooo.... no one said a thing about the kids being so close the currency exchange and the liquor store. sounds to me like this neighborhood is already shit.

  • listen, ive worked day labor companys like this and i can tell you that its true that about 60% that work for slaver ready are junkies, pedos and drunks ..Slaver ready on most jobs gets 15 to 20$ an hour for a day laborer and slaver ready pays out minimum wage!!But hey drunks, junkies and pedos have to work just like everybody else!!The people i feel bad for the ones that are down on their luck or made one mistake and cant get work anywhere because of a one time fuck up

  • Labor Ready: (1) A great place to find drugs. (2) A terrible place to find a job.

  • @ATRTAP Right on, man. They're willing to work. This nation, its police, its courts, and society in general seriously needs to examine its punishment of the poor for the crime of simply being poor. That's not right. I mean, look at the vagrancy laws. They talk about "the war on poverty"- but it's more like the war on the poverty-stricken, half the time. Police will harrass you until they can trump up charges on you for living in your car. They've made it impossible to be homeless- not unlikely.

  • I hate to admit it but i now (because of the economy) am forced to subject myself to the exploitation of Labor Ready. I wouldent want one(or any other like one) in my neighborhood based on the negative element of people that day labor centers tend to attract. I dont drink, use drugs or engage in criminal activity but a good many of day laborers Do have that reputation.

  • @ATRTAP

Really Labor Ready admits it's not paying for low end workers to work there way up. Loosers who gamble to make it to the top. Thats your problems what you do with your time and money. Thats the bras for you they told you a thing or two. Long run don't bite the hand that feeds you it got you through college and paved your way dipie.

  • i work for labor ready and I am not a criminal. Im not perfect I have been to jail but for just shoplifting nothing more. Its a great place to make money if you are down on your luck and not all of us are criminals.

  • this doesnt apply to every1 tht goes 2 labor ready so dont get me wrong when i say "ppl tht messed up don not deserve a 2nd chance? says the hell who?!" if its not to make an extra buck, its just to get tht 2nd chance u assholes!

  • LABOR READY SUCKS
