  • oh god 6.0 system...

  • oh you know, the difference between hearing people culture and deaf people culture! ;-) And so if you can hear the off camera narration, you can tell which person is being talked about - but for those of us deaf, we rely on the captioning. I have family members named Rucker so I was curious but could not tell which skater was named Rucker. It's not an insult, don't get me wrong, it's just a different outlook on life. I just have different issues to be aware of. ;-) Thx!

  • What do you mean, "culture clash"?

  • haha it means just wondering

  • I have um DSL I think that's broadband, it's the slower broadband - it uploads pretty fast on our end, maybe you need to hollar at your ISP??

  • heh heh, no worries. what does "jw" abbreviate for? I'm an ooooold lady so I got on the internet already used to typing stuff out and not thinking about abbreviating everything... heh. oh maybe "just wondering"? duh? I'm so dense!! ;-( never mind, never mind, never mind... time to go back to sleeeeeep.

  • ohh sorry idk i was jw like what you meant

  • oh, see, I'm deaf/hard of hearing so it took awhile to listen without captioning and figure out which one was the Rucker. (personal interest). Sorry, was thinking out loud, I guess. For hearies, it's a more obvious thing because they can simply hear the off-camera narrator's voice. I didn't have a talking head to lipread the information off of. So anyway, no worry... just "culture clash". :-)

  • yeahhhh and...

  • Romeo and Juliet. Sasha Cohen's long program music.
