This year, on October 24, 2009, individuals in 181 countries hosted over 5200 events to mark the most widespread day of environment action in the history of the planet. The critical issue at this time is to pressure world leaders at the Copenhagen UN Climate Negotiations to take urgent action needed to reduce carbon emissions to the number 350—as in the number of parts per million—in order to flight climate change and protect all life on the planet. Join the movement to reach the 350 goal—the scale of the crisis facing humanity at this time is massive and requires the collective efforts of millions of people. On the weekend of December 12, 2009, actions will take place all over the globe—a "climate mobilization" from the local to the global level. Learn how to participate at www.350.org
