  • It seems you've got 24" spacing. In the US, the usual standard is 16" spacing with no "nogging", even if the panels are horizontal. In the UK, can you skip the nogging if the panels are vertical, or is it always required?

    PS: In some US localities, they supposedly allow 24" spacing in non-load-bearing walls or when using 2X6 construction, but I've never seen it.
