Korg Poly800 II w/ Moog Slayer Mod

This is a sales post for a used Korg Poly-800 mkii w/ Moog Slayer mod. I completed the mod myself a couple of years ago with great success!

I originally bought the keyboard used on ebay, and it was in piss poor shape. The battery section was rusted out, a foot pad was missing, the keys were very dirty, and the sounds were a little scratchy.

Before I completed the modification, I dusted and cleaned out the contacts and keyboard, as well as the chasis. Then I carefully installed the potentiometers and wiring according to the Moog Slayer mod.

As you can her in the video it works! However I need to make room in my studio, as this board is no longer being used (bought a Moog Little Phatty). The only issues with this are:

• Battery section is rusted out (originally this synth could be portable on C cell batteries) - someone with some time could fix this up though - but it works without. **Note this battery is different from the internal memory battery, which DOES work.
• Missing 1x rubber footpad
• Some sounds get a little "dirty" sounding. (can't tell if this is from dirty outputs)

Sold As-Is due to its age and modification. All button/keys functions. Comes with power adapter and copied manual.

**Warning the Moog Slayer mod has been known to tear speakers (as you can hear in the video) so be very mindful of this when you are noodling.
