Jackson family spokesman Brian Oxman reacts to the news of Michael Jackson's death. He says he is "stunned" and adds that he warned the family that prescription drug abuse might have contributed to his death.

"If you think the case with Anna Nicole Smith was an abuse, it's nothing in comparison to what we have seen taking place in Michael Jackson's life."

  • You are a total FAKE Christian. No Christian or a person with heart will say something so hateful about a person. And God always forgive as long as you are regretful. Be gone and be ashamed of yourself!

  • I am a regular person....A 5th grade teacher..in a small town in Ohio!!! I am sooo saddened by this! Why do people say such BAD things about him??? Pay respect people!!!!!!

  • I have never heard a spokesman who doesn't have anything to say. Just listen to what he says. Nobody said anything and he doesn't know anything.

  • How many times is he going to say "stunned"?

  • @sweetsunna M.J. took those medications for a long, long time. he knows it what would be the consenquences of taken it so much ,he's an intelligent man, he knows it but he needs it to take out the pain, thats why he wants this Doctor to stay in his house, just to monitor him, just in case he take so much of it. This Doctor knows it also, its dangerous but the need of Money was more powerful. so i would say this Doctor has fault. anyway i just hope, Justice will prevail at the end.

  • @sweetsunna , you're right again! I'am in your side & i do understand it. many Doctors as I've had encountered would gave u the most expensive medications although it gives a medication that are more cheaper & have the same ingredients exactly w/ the expensive one.why they gave the expensive one bec. they would be given a commision basis to this company. many of them, i said, many of them don't care anymore.

  • @sweetsunna .I think you're also right w/ you're comments.Money is really a big deal to those people who cared about only MONEY, & money. I understand what u mean. sometimes those people who are greedy of money , don't care about anymore the importance of LIFE.

  • @Lindsay1656 AND was prescribed medication BY DOCTORS who knew or did not know his full med. history. If THEY as doctors cared about what consequences the drugs can cause to MJ, they would NOT have prescribed them. Your theory makes no sense that it was his fault, nor does it make sense for doctors to explain the side effects of the drugs he was given and then GIVE them to him anyway! We're not talking about aspirin, we're talking drugs that should be given in a hospital setting ONLY!

  • @Lindsay1656 I am not just blindly defending Michael nor am I delusional to think that he was flawless (who is?!), but I do think that when greedy folks are as close to cashing hundreds of thousands of $s as they were in MJ's case, they'll milk it as long as they can. I know that when I have a toothache, I'll take any painkiller my doctor gives me just to make it go away, I won't even think of consequences when in state of pain. MJ was in constant state of painmuch worse than a toothache...

  • @Lindsay1656 How can you compare us "average" people with a person of Michael's (financial status), and then reach the conclusion that the doctors he dealt with followed procedures in explaining the effects of prescribed medicines? I don't think you realize nor have any idea what celebrity doctors will or will not do when it comes to money. Nor are you in the position to attribute any percentage of guilt to the patient, certainly not with one with loads of money, surrounded with greedy folks.
