  • what cymbal are you driving on at 1:46?

  • Zildian Armand ride - 20"

  • did you use a double bass pedal

  • No.

  • you did the heal toe methid didnt you?

  • i never could get the heal toe thing. I think it's easier than what i do though, which is: the first strike is from the very back of the pedal...then you slide forward and hit the second strike toward the middle of the pedal as it rebounds

  • @jaqua524 to be honest... i have no idea. and to be honest... i dont care if its named or some standard technique. the way i look at it, as long as your not doing some unnatural motion that poses possibility of injury, different techniques to achieve the same result are completely fine, even if you happen to make up your own technique.

im sure theres a name for it though. i just don't know it.

  • @jaqua524 Its the slide tech its way easier i think that the heel toe. Bonham used it.

  • @gerbile3 yeah..then what the hell am i doing? lol

  • @jaqua524 no. i also use the method he talks about. you don't use heel at all. like he said

hit the pedal in the back where the beater is and then hit the iddle on the rebound. tbh people with big feet or average pedals can't do heel toe without getting their toes stuck in chain or whatever drives your pedal.

  • btw there are two fills in the chorus, but good cover though

  • @itdoesntmatter1969 that kinda is what i do, but isnt that heel toe? you arent hitting the pedal per say with your heel, for me its how i drop my foot, my heel hits the bass bottom part of the petal, which kinda allows the part right below the ball of my foot to hit the petal, as it rebounds, it hit it with the ball of my foot..idk what im doing what meathod that is, but it works lol

  • Sheesh, great bass work.

  • excellent cover. GREAT

  • great cover but u needed MORE COWBELL!!!!

  • 0:08 the high hat still needs to be clicking and the bass drum triplets it looks as if your trying so hard to get them
