Please enjoy this 3-minute clip of Victoria Park in Downtown Kitchener, Ontario, Canada. Shot on the evening of Saturday August 1st.

Thanks to Nancy the dog handler and to Régis Hervagault (http://rhervag.info/) for inspiring me to get off my butt and make a video! His work is fantastic.

This was my first quality attempt at a 5D Mark II video. The scenes were converted using Neo Scene by Cine Form, then cut together using Adobe Premier Pro CS4. Music is 1,2,3 piano by Greendjohn (obtained from Jamendo).

Thanks for viewing, leave me a comment!

  • I used the 70-200 f/4 L IS at about 150mm.. It is just as quick as the kit lens, but I think it handles the evening light a bit better :)

    Thanks again for looking!

  • gorgeous !

  • Thank you sir - your work is fantastic!

  • nice music and images ..

  • I enjoy the movie, Victoria Park was my stomping grounds when I was growing up . I played there almost everyday in the late 60's and 70's, Great shots and music.

  • My goodness you did a breathtakingly (is that a word lol) beautiful job! So glad you included the boathouse but I did not see the cannon. I will return whenever I am homesick. Thanks so much for posting!!!

  • That is breath-takingly beautiful. Perfect in any way.

  • yes it does look much better ! thx for the info.

i have a cheap 50 f1.8 ordered just in case but it is very good to see such results.

    cheers

  • haha thx! you're too kind. may i ask what lense you used for the low light at the end ? very nice clean and crisp, better than the f4 kit lens i think !
