One of my Favorite Ska- Rock Bands, I bought this album after seeing the video in a Burdines store watching MTV in 1985 and fell in love with this album and band, One of the great 1980's groups who never got their due while bands like No Doubt and others rode their sound to multiplatinum sales.

  • they aren't really ska-rock, they be mod

  • @ShreddyTeddy

But they were part of that 2-tone ska movement of the early 80's that spawned No Doubt, Sublime and 311 in the 90's a very influential band that doesn't get any love

  • @TheNewsoul2 What exactly do you mean, influential … ?

    They were one-hit-wonders … !!

  • @MrCuddy2977

I am with you, bro. This was the sound in Califonia clubs of the '80's and into the '90's whether you were up San Francisco or San Diego, whether it was a band or the DJ. This represents a combination of so many types of music that was and still is so California, USA. JMHO, hugely influential.
