This is a multi-camera (Normal speed) in car ride up the hill durning the Goodwood Festival of Speed 2007. Ride with Nick Adams (the designer of the eXpansys.com Lotus 2-Eleven). This is the first time that either of us have seen the course. The only thing we have been told is that if you have not hit the brakes buy the time you get to Pheasantry corner you will not make it around the corner. A Palmer Jag XK8 stuffed it in there hard in the morning. We go faster as the weekend progressed as we did not want to crash in front of the 200,000 people in the stands, that would be embarrassing!

  • What software did you use for editing the video and captioning? As well as what camera hardware? This video is very well done.

  • I used Final Cut Pro to edit and iMovie for the titles. I used Chase Cam for the digital recorders and bullet cameras. Thanks for the kind words, they are a lot of work and even more fun to have been a part of!

  • I had a feeling that you were using Randy Chase's cams! He's become quite the de-facto standard for racing cams. Even supplies the cams for the Aptera.

  • Yes, Randy is a good guy and make great gear even though he sold his Lotus ;-)

  • Great video, love the composition and all the captions! Quite hard to read the smaller text though.

  • Thanks! I know that the small captions are hard to read, I guess you will have to watch it a couple of times! I should post a transcript...lol.

  • will you be at goodwood for 2009??? if so what car will you be taking up the hillclimb??

  • that was it?

  • One of the greatest things I have ever seen. Cheers.

  • I'm not green with envy, I'm god damn blue with it. I just want to know how you made your money and how I can get into that business. Seriously though that is one sweet machine. I just talked to my dealer in Denver to get an MSRP quote after watching that. Just shy of $80k for those that are interested. However, he says that non are available at the moment anyway. That probably just saved me from a divorce.
