This song reminds me of grandpa,two days before he died he said I'll never see Scotland again lass so never forget where your blood starts from be proud of it and stand by the Scots for they are the best at loyality. Hail to Scotland and grandpa Cunningham.

I'm Italian, I've been some times in Scotland and seen Runrig (LochNess2007, Scone,Barrowlands and more). I understand why you Scottish people are so proud of your nation ! It's simply wonderful !

Though based in the southwest I had 3 scottish grandparents... (father from the borders).... used to go up every year as a kid, still feels like a home from home all these years later and proud to wear the kilt to get married in as a mark of respect for my bloodline
