@flexin007 Both breeds are great! Just love them and respect them...and u'll be really happy. Maybe in ur decision will consider the weather, Akita r not for the hot weather, they suffer in a hot summer, and they are feeling really happy at could. I think this is the only difference between them two, in rest both r great!

@flexin007 them r so proud, smart, strong behavior. Them make u feel special, r huge teddy bear faces that know to melt ur heart with their love, but also keep them tough caracter. &when u talk with them, they really understand u, like u talk with another human. Is like an honor to have such dog, hard to describe in words. But is not a dog for everyone, u need first to respect and willing to have a stronger mind, r easy to train with a lot of patience, respect and not even the voice louder,

i had a looot of dogs, different breeds, i have for 1 year an Akita...and i will never ever never have any other breed for the rest of my life!!!
