great costume!! im working on an alien costume atm, any hints on how you got the mouth to open, where was the cable to open the mouth?

@wowikeb Thanks! The jaw was moveable, and held shut with hidden rubberbands. I used an old bicycle cable attached to the back of the jaw to pull it open. The cable ran down my back and hung near my right hand (you can see it in the video if you know where to look).

Thanks. I tried to keep it very simple so that it wouldn't break during any Halloween parties.

I used rubber bands to hold the jaw shut, a bicycle cable to make the jaw open (rubber bands pulled it shut again), and when the jaw would open, an air tube would reach my mouth. Blowing into it would telescope the inner jaw out, and drawing air in would retract it. NO BATTERIES REQUIRED!
