@1overthehillsfaraway You probly haven't tried to stop a barrel horse before when its made up its mind.I do totally understand what you are saying but she tried to stop him but it wasn't working so through the rest of the run she was trying to keep her body position and keep the bridle up all at the same time its hard enough to do the run with a bridle i gues youl never realize that unless you are actually riding a barrel horse about to run at the NFR

@quarterhorselover100 Don't get all riled up now... and keep working with horses that is a good thing. Don't put them in danger though like in this video for no good reason. The potential consequences of scamper getting really badly injured is not something you should stick up for... think about it. you gonna do that for a barrel race? To your horse? Put it in that danger? Fighting in a bull ring horseback is safer than running with your bridle dangling...

@1overthehillsfaraway So yeah dontcha go down makin up stuff about people

@1overthehillsfaraway I don't know what you are talking about, i don't collect breyer horses, my little sister does, and i let her use my account somtimes.I dont care what you and your dam wife owned this is the 11 time world champion you are talking about.she did try to keep the bridle up and she was only like 14 when she did this,what it is you are not accepting that fact and your making a lot of dumm exuces and you have a lot of problems

@quarterhorselover100 I've been around the world and seen some of the best horse handlers there are. In Spain, the Chantilly stables outside of Paris, Lexington horse park, California.... and my wife and I have owned an equine veterinary practice for 20 years. I don't think and adolescent girl who collects Briar horses should be attempting to tell me what good horsemanship is. Scamper would have really panicked had he stepped on the heasdstall and ruined his mouth. Grow up.

@1overthehillsfaraway Scamper began to pick up more speed in the end seeming to panik and figouring out that something WAS WRONG.So you were wrong AGAIN scamper did figoure it out and he ran a second time at yuma colorado briddleless.You DO NOT know the bond with this horse and rider you really don't

@quarterhorselover100 Imeant first barrel

@1overthehillsfaraway One time when my reins broke the horse was at a gallop,so i pulled to the side and we ran into a tree so i got hurt.I was lucky that it was not the barbed wire near us,so if she did that to scamper they probably would have ran into the wall so it wasn't her fault when she could not stop him
-
@1overthehillsfaraway She was not going to be capable of pulling him to the side because like it says in her book scamper was not one to be pulled,she was not kicking him to the third barrel so that you where wrong but the rest of the run she did kick because there was odviously NO stopping him at that point.We can't force horses to do things,they listen to us because they want to please us she could force scamper to stop hed made up his mind he was going to go.
Scamper is a legend.
He and Charmayne are amazing.

@1overthehillsfaraway Have you ever tried to stop a barel horse who loves his job like scamper did? there was no way that she was stopping that horse while he was in the arena.
