@tpvalley the 599 blocks don't sheer crank shafts there the serpentine setups like mine

horrible milage no power whats wrong with it needs a turbo like mine i put one in a half ton chevy 5 speed gear drive and a turbo high flow down pipe and itll smoke yours no offence just saying somthing has to be up with yours

any problems with the gmc 6.2?
they shear crankshafts due to being based on petrol engine but sound dam good!

It does seem to lack quite a bit of power but otherwise runs reasonably well other than horrible mileage.
Sounds really nice however I still prefer the sound of old Nissan SD/TD33 inline 6, much more pronounced industrial character while 6.2 is more of a show off :-)
