i have used both the black(privacy) edition and the mirror edition, the privacy works well in a indoors environment, outdoors under direct sunlight the screen is barely visible under direct sunlight and as mention it is thick, if u get the privacy you have to increase your screens brightness all the way up. same goes for the mirror.
