Its sort of poignant this video showing Nureyev in a sauna. Speculation is that he contracted the HIV virus in a gay sauna in the early 80s. Such a great talent and beautiful man.

He was gay yes. Apparently that's one of the reasons the KGB was after him. He had a relationship with Erik Bruhn, another renowned dancer at the time. They say it was a bit of an Ike and Tina scenario!

Got to say, La Piggy had great taste! Nureyev was gorgeous. God, what a body and what a face. God bless him! A real funny clip I hadn't seen since it was broadcast, I think in 1977. Wonderfull!
