You can difference a true composer in metal, if they realize that the only agression possible in music is when a song destroys itself. It's not about the screaming or about the riffs or lyrics, it's when drums battle with guitars, bass with the voice and the organs are just painting the scene. Chuck Schuldiner knew it perfectly so does Devin. Just heroes

When I go into labor I'll be screaming and growling along with Devin to this song no joke <3

Terrifying song. Eveyone almost shat themselves when they opened with this at Donington on 2006.

2 minutes of the fucking heaviest shit ever!

@NoEoAoRo This doesn't sound like black metal. Epic atmosphere is and always has been something that Devin uses in all of his music. I don't want to have to listen to a shit band like Emperor to pretend to see a resemblance to this.

..This song does indeed sound like late 90s Emperor.

@chi854: This song is very black metal stylistically. The higher growls, the epic triple meter groove, the epic atmospheric keyboards. If you've listened to Emperor enough you'd see the resemblance. And, I didn't say SYL was black metal. I said "at least this song is". Read the comment again.
Calm down you little baby. You make it sound as though I threw I piece of crap in your eyes.
