I live next to a base with F-15's and deal with them daily. They look like monsters in the sky their so big. Thats if you spot them before their already gone. The base gets complaints everyday from the noise mostly elderly. They even break people's windows. Its thunder on steroids all day here. At times they race by at 3 am waking up everyone and scares the shit out of you. The noise does get old but learning to block them out becomes second nature I guess. At least our neighborhood is safe! lol

@EimantazzWM Fail. the F/A-18 Hornet/Super Hornet is technologically inferior is almost every way apart from its' carrier capability. Both planes suit completely different roles as well.
