Really. In that case, let's impeach FDR.

Yep,
Whimsical illusions there.
THE PRESIDENT IS NOT ABOVE THE LAW!
But some people seem to think he is.

Yeah, you're starting to go on a whim with the allusions there...
Point being, we know the suceeder of Bush will be evil. We can minimize the president's damage (whoever the president happens to be)by ensuring that the right people are in congress. Simple concept there, don't bother going out of your way to care or anything...

LOL,
Surely you don't suggest rape is good --- NO?
You do, when you suggest NOT stopping the current rapist in fear of another to take his place is actually an acceptable state of being. Since when is rape --- acceptable? You can't guarantee that another rapist will take his place, but merely can suggest one MIGHT. However, what I hope we do disagree upon is that arresting the rapist demonstrates to future rapists, what won't be tolerated --- YES?

It's more like, 'why stop a rapist just to unleash another one?' Getting rid of Bush would not be 'stopping the madness' if madness replaces him. Not every solution to a problem is the right one, but it doesn't mean a good solution does not exist.
The house and senate are not on the people's side because they follow party rule. We can get 'deviants' into the house, but the president's race is out of our hands. I'm not arguing against your fight, I'm just saying there's better battles.

mackler,
It is NEVER TOO LATE to do the right thing.

giggan1,
Why catch a rapist when more rapists will take their place? Why catch the arsonist when more arsonists will emerge? Why arrest the burglar when there will be more thefts to occur?
Isn't that what you argue for?
INJUSTICE?
Please, prove why NOT stopping this madness is sensible; logical.
The House and Senate are not on the People's side, least they would have acted to end this mess --- NO?

As bad as Bush is, has anyone checked who would replace him? Cheney or Pelosi. There is no salvation in evicting him, nor will there be with the next pres, either Hill or McCain. The people don't control the presidency, so our main focus needs to be keeping the house and senate on our side.

All New Englanders join Betty Hall when she introduces her bill HR24 in Concord to get the NH legislature to direct congress to start impeaching. See our coverage at impeachthem . com & also get toll-free #s so you can call the US House Judiciary Committee to tell them you want impeachment NOW!
Thanks,

Does anyone but me find it strange that only month before 911 for the first time in U.S. history the vice president became personally in charge of security in the sense he took over a job that had been traditionally left up to career military men. Not only that, he does not have any military experience because he got 5 draft deferments in a row in until he was to old to be drafted. He was in charge and aware about the plane approaching the Pentagon, he did nothing; and it was entirely his job!
