  • hi soiouz... so your car is unrestored, even more valuable then!! such good condition too, wow. and the push button automatic is totally cool. I'm going to sub your channel so I know when your next vid of it comes out, maybe that first drive of the year??

  • @JunkyardJunkeez

Yes, unrestored 35k miles car. It spent more than 40 years in a heated garage by the original owner's house.

Aside from regular maintenance (oil changes, brakes, filters), the only work that was done to it was some rust repair in the rockers and a green repaint. The white roof is original!

The car is stored for winter now, but I plan on making more vids next spring! Stay tuned!

  • Interesting vehicle. Looks like a 1959 Plymouth in the rear, and a 1959 Dodge in the front.

  • @author

That's actually precisely what it is!

That's how Dodge of Canada could offer smaller cars for our market. Up here in the late 1950,s you could get the Custom Royal models that were the same as the US models, but the rest of the Dodge brand was all Plymouths with Dodge front clips.

The Mayfair model was equivalent to a Belvedere.

  • Sweet Ride!!

  • @bulldog31960

    Thanks a lot!

  • wow. a canadian car. super rare to find em as they were all exposed to the harsh winters

  • @soiouz what an incredible history. that's like winning the lottery! so glad to know it is still in good hands and receiving excellent care with you. so many times an old car's life story is a mystery that will never be fully known, thanks for sharing this one's. We will definitely check out your vids when you bring her out in the spring!

  • Thanks for that. Certainly a lucky fella owning this beauty !

  • Hi!

    Thanks for the comment!

The motor is the original 313 c.i. V8, which was a Canadian only motor, pretty much equivalent to the US 318 c.i.

The transmission is a Powerflite pushbutton automatic.

The car is an unrestored survivor with only 35000 original miles!
