  • @myfaceispurple, well, I do agree that electro-house is meant to be very energetic music, but it doesn't have to be simple as people make it. You can still have ongoing melodies, complex synths and other production, and interesting beats. I think it's just the way it is because artists have become lazy. The music people make often has a LOT more potential.

  • @starwarsguy9 that's because you're missing the meaning of electro. electro is supposed to show how many AMAZING synths the artists can make, just like blues isn't to show how AMAZING the musicians are. Electro is supposed to have mass amounts of energy in the simplest form, much like tech house or techno. really simple stuff, yet REALLY groovy. Glitch hop is still one of the top genres production wise though with that said.

  • @myfaceispurple, yes, but electro isn't much of an interesting genre in the first place, though with complextro and fidget it is finding it's way to be a glitchier, more interesting genre, even though it's not at the level that music like Glitch Hop and Breakcore are.

  • @starwarsguy9 didnt know that, it's about time. FL Studio can only get you so far in producing. A collab with the glitch mob would be cool though, especially with the new style he's been doing. Although you're right about Gartner, you have to admit that electro wouldn't be the same today without him. He pretty much invented the whole "complextro" thing

  • @myfaceispurple, fuck it, Uppermost uses Abelton now, look on his channel, there's a vid of him producing with it. So a collab would be possible. Though I'd rather see him collab with the Glitch Mob or something, Gartner is cool, but it lacks dynamic, it's typically structured electro-house. Nothing too complex.

  • @starwarsguy9 nah, midi only contains the melodies within them. you could save the synth you made and send the file but that would not contain all the EQs and compression and FX you put on, the only way to do that would be through .wav files which is a BITCH to do, ive done it before.

  • @myfaceispurple, if each person makes their own different synths/melodies for the song, then they export it out to midi with presets to the other person, they mess with it and send it back, it could totally work.

  • Deadwho?

  • i recently discovered uppermost, and i must say, my brainhs have been scrambled every second of every day since

    ELECTROHOUSE RULES :D
