Sugar and soda can't be good for you. But why on earth promote cow's milk as an alternative? It's loaded with hormones, as the cow has just been pregnant. Did you get some pocket money by the powerful dairy industry?

I agree with you completely on the issue of soda, obesity , and sugar. But as a MD you should know that milk is not a healthy alternate beverage. Yes it does not have the sugar content of soda but it causes a myriad of other health related problems. Crack open a few medical journals would ya'.

The thing about milk is that even though it has a higher fat content, it also means that those who drink it generally have the feeling of being full longer and are less likely to eat something else. That and the fact that it actually isn't empty calories means that it is a better alternative than soda. I think what the man is saying is that if you want to drink something besides water, milk is the best alternative. Personally, I'd rather drink water than just about anything else.

The best thing to drink is actually tea. It has all the water of water and has the added benefits of antioxidants. But back to the milk, the issue is more than just the fat content. High cholesterol, iron deficiency, type 1 diabetes, ovarian cancer, cataracts, and food allergies to name a few. Like I said crack open a few medical journals.

This is the moron who called for forced vaccines in NYS for Health care workers - and it unfortunately passed legislation - Im so glad I never gave a "Nurses Union" a dime-they did nothing about this-that would cost them their clients money- the Government will tell us how to live now
