How to Make a Bow Headband

A tutorial I made on how to make a bow headband. They are lovely, girly hair accessories that really pretty up the hair even when you're having a bad hair day. Just put your hair up in a messy ponytail or bun and add a bow headband. Supercute. The bow headbands have been re-popularized by the fashion muse Blair Waldrof. I have a question. When you sewed the original "rectangle" together, was it just one piece folded in half and you sew along the three sides and not the folded edge? Or do you even sew the folded edge?
