If i recall correctly the final words lundi says are "even after all this, he is still with me". or something to that effect.this ending was got by getting a high shoot down ratio and by taking all the most difficult branching paths.

@ashinroy86 The greatest thing about the encyclopaedia in Orta, was that the majority of information is incorrect, as it is mostly written by the Empire, Lundi or Ghast. The Empire likes to believe it's a different dragon that emerges and defeats them, but Saga and the reason for the dragon assisting Orta in the fourth game tie them all together. It is Lagi, inhabited by the ancient 'virus' (well, in 1, 2 and Saga), the only missing links to Lagi's story is how he met the Sky Rider.

@BarrytheSuperScot Are you certain it's the same dragon? I had always thought so too until the release of Orta. The material found in Pandora's Box of Orta suggests that each dragon from each game is a separate creature. There are certainly some similarities between each, but this could be a matter of design by the ancients. The dragon from Azel could even be evolved to the point that he looked just like Solowing (or any of Lagi's forms) which suggests a common design amongst individuals.

Im not sure after so many years but so many people is convinced that zwei is the prequel that it has to be then... is this stated officially somewhere? I would like to have a look to understand better this great storyline =)

@ZycaLaser Actually Zwei is a prequel to the first game. Look it up.

It's the same dragon (It's not a dragoon. Dragoon is actually a type of soldier. Originally for mounted infantry I believe, so it's really the rider that's the "dragoon". And "Panzer" is German for tank.) throughout the 4 games.

Lagi/Solo Wing (the blue dragon) was born in Zwei and dies in Orta.

yeah. lundi was supposed to be the skyrider many people thought so including me but a few years ago one of the former members of amdromeda was interviewed and they asked him this and he said the sky rider and lundi are 2 different persons. the sky rider, which emphasizes even more the mystery surrounding the skyrider. who or what is he?? he seems android like azel.

the soul and the mission of the original dragon reincarnates and stays alive until that mission is accomplished. the first dragonrider was lundi in panzer dragoon zwei. he raised the dragon from a coolia. panzer dragoon zwei is the first game in the story followed by panzer dragoon 1 and panzer dragoon saga
