A clip of an underwater scene of a helmet diver being attacked by both a turtle and an octopus with a rescue by a breath hold swimmer diver. From the 1937 documentary film Killers of the Sea. Narrated by Lowell Thomas, the breath hold diver is Captain Wallace Caswell Jr, the helmet diver is Carl Von Ernst. The underwater portion appears to have been filmed by John D. Craig in southern California, even though the narrator says that they are in the Gulf of Mexico off of Florida. (Transferring films to video and researching the copyrights is very expensive, so please click on the advertisement at the beginning of the video. All revenue will be used to place more historic diving films onto Youtube for free public viewing.)
