i went to the somme for a school trip a few years ago to see the battlefields of ww1 and on rememberance sunday we met an old navy veteran who served during ww2. through tearfilled eyes he told us of his experiences in combat. i cant put into word the admiration i have for that man and others like him who have endured unspeakable horrors all in the name of freedom. they are true heroes who carry the hearts of us all. god bless.
