This commercial is responsible for my addiction to mouthwash and rubbing alcohol. I've been in wonderland ever since. Thanks Rexall. Can anyone spare a dime?

2 minutes--longer attention spans back then...? That sounds like Daws Butler as the WC Fields-like judge, and Janet Waldo (Judy Jetson) as Alice

What better character to advertise for a drug store than the White Rabbit?

In March 1966 this special was sponsered by Rexall. It was repeated in December 1967 and sponsored by Micky D's.

Harvey Korman.. He cracks me up. RIP

Is that a commercial too?

Yes. I'll try to get it uploaded some time today.

You know, I forgot about that, 'toontracker'! I saw "Alice In Wonderland" just once, but I only remember the "integrated" ads- I think Coca-Cola {the "other sponsor") showed their own commercials, with no tie-ins to the special whatsoever!

You're right. The only integrated part of the Coca Cola sponsorship was the "sponsored by" tag at the beginning of the special. I'll see if I can post it later tonight.

Actually, Flintstone vitamins were originated by THEIR first sponsor, Miles Laboratories, before this special ever aired! This was part of the ad campaign during the "ALICE IN WONDERLAND" {March 1966 Hanna-Barbera edition} special to "sell" Rexall drugstores' "one cent sale" to viewers- Rexall Drugs sponsored the entire hour, and they had the money to "integrate" their message within the special, using the special's characters. You won't see anything like this on TV again!

In addition to Rexall, this special was also sponsored by Coca-Cola.
