@barsense I've read all you've said. Didn't bother to read Obamacare. Too pissed off. Maybe there is promise. My major concern is being stuck in debt & Obama hasn't moved a finger to get us out knowing the system scammed us and that's why a lot of people are in debt with their credit history destroyed undeservingly! Public debt is a key to ending the recession! He needs to wake up, get up, and get it done! We don't have time to wait! It's hot out here and that's why I'm giving him heat!

@questmoo And the healthcare bill DOES control costs. Insurance companies now are limited on profits they are required to spend 80 to 85 % on healthcare and they have to file a disclosure proving the need for rate hikes for state, federal regulators and the Public to look over.

@questmoo It is not our group that has the deciding votes it is the independents and if we push to hard and demand too much without being willing to compromise and take progress in stages we loose the independents and we get nothing done.Take it or leave it I have no control over that but I am telling you that trying to play hardball is a guarantee to hand the reigns back to the right and come up completely empty handed for years just like it has in the past.

@barsense Look Clinton pushed hard and refused to accept less on healthcare reform and it set us back another 10 years till we finally did get reform , if Obama had done the same we would again have wound up with nothing and another for no telling how many years. Obama got the ball rolling when no other pres has been able to and it will not stop now it will keep getting better unless the right get's back in control and then they are going to try and undo it all.

@questmoo I really do understand where you are coming from and your frustration but I am just being realistic, there have been too many times when pushing too hard too fast has left us completely empty handed with nothing to show for it. It is going to take patience and steady solid support for a few more years to get it done and if the right get's back in control they already are going to undone everything that has been done if they can and pushing to hard is a guarantee win for the right.

@questmoo I agree with you about Pelosi and I hope she get's re-elected she has done an amazing job getting the democrats on board with bills to get them passed but she also had to agrtee to drop the public option in order to get the votes she needed to pass the healthcare reform bill. What I think you do not understand is this is the first step towards expanding and going to a public option, the right knows it and that is why they are fighting it so hard.

@barsense Stop defending him and I'll chill until the elections are over! Then, it's going to be full steam ahead if he doesn't give us debt relief, jobs, and Public Option to control health care cost and eliminate the individual being forced to pay! That's crap! People are not going to be able to do that! You're not guaranteeing jobs! We'd need a full employment policy for that!
We need to get our ducks in a row and you think you'll get better than the same old crap you've always gotten!

@barsense I'm sure there are some good things in Obamacare and we are better with it than without it 4 now. I'm pissed it doesn't meet the objective of controlling cost! Guess who will pay for that? The individual! It's only a matter of time before it goes sour and stink to high heaven! So, hey, back at you, with your settling for half ass laws attitude, instead of lighting a fire under the guy to bless the country! He's not getting the job done and you're throwing a rug over it!
