12.10.2006-Jazz Session Opener at the Kulturpalast in Hannover...,Drums,Philipp Ahrens,Bass,Jerko Grubisic,Keys.Dennis Cannizzo was born in 1978, the first year I went to see Rush Play! He was born in Rotenburg Wümme and started to play guitar at the age of 12. At 15 he atteded some Jazz workshops and later he took lessons from Thomas Brendgens Mönkemeyer, a lecturer in jazz guitar at the university in music and Theather Hanover, where he studied jazz. He also won the solo artist award in the Hanover 2001 jazz competition.
Dennis Cannizzo created a cool jazz and fusion project called tunefish in 2004. The repertoire of tunefish consists of self-compositions by Dennis Cannizzo and new interpretation of well-known jazz standard. He particularly likes driving Grooves with Bebop, Latin, Trip Hop and Drum 'n bass with layers of fusion guitar.
