About Steven Gerrard :
Steven George Gerrard (born 30 May, 1980) is an English football player. Gerrard is currently playing for Liverpool, where he wears the number 8 shirt. He is the England vice captain, for which he wears the number 4. He usually plays as a central midfielder.
Gerrard was born in Whiston Hospital but grew up in the Liverpool suburb of Huyton. Gerrard is engaged to Alex Curran and they got married on June 16 2007. They have two daughters: Lilly-Ella Gerrard (born February 23, 2004) and Lexie Gerrard (born May 09, 2006).
On 1 September 2006, he published his first autobiography, entitled Gerrard: My Autobiography.
