I don't think the original TEA party liked Bushed. As an observer on the left; I say a grassroots libertarian movement rising (social liberal: fiscal conservative/ non-authoritative). I then saw it get hijacked by Palin and Glenn Beck. The conservative and reliigous right killed or "out shouted" the libertarian and secular right.

@allan8d8 Bush was a puppet. He did what his rich buddies told him to do. I mean, he could not even leave the schoolroom on 911 without having somebody tell him too.

The big problem with Bush is that he was a simple guy who should never have been voted into office. Period. He certainly isn't highly intelligent nor an evil tyrant. He was just a simplistic everyday schmo who should never have been voted in. The people who voted for him is just as guilty for the collapse as he and the financial companies are.
