i would never ever pay to learn audio seriously its all on you tube and if you really want to be on a pro level go get them lunch prove yourself and your in these schools are a joke you get out and cant intern or run cause you owe 20g get real study read watch youtube and get in a studio the old school way

A producer is typically more of a writing partner. Engineers record and sculpt the tone, and bring to life what the band and producers hear in their head. Mastering gives that final polished sound - EQ, levels, compression, etc.
