This song is my most favorite one out of Jake's originals.
You can find it in his CD Gently Weeps (2006) - I have one with his autograph :)
I tried this song in the past, but it was not long until I gave it up.
Jake's original recording sounds to me like overdubbed...
This time around, my dream has come true with Dominator's help.
My big thanks go out to Dominator (http://www.youtube.com/DominatorUke/; http://www.dominator.ukeland.com/)
Actually I practiced this song on my Ko'olau Tenor, but I felt its sound did not suit to this song. So for shooting, I gave it a go with my old friend - Kamaka Concert.
(But I shouldn't use it so often because it needs repair.)
I wish I could have a tenor uke with spruce top!
BTW, I have shortened the nails for technical reasons. I'm getting used to it now...
Recorded with a digital camera Canon IXUS 55.
Kamaka Concert with Martin fluorocarbon (IIRC).
PS. Jake's autograph on Kamaka.....
That sounds like a very challenging song. So glad you didn't give up on it. Dominator has been a big help to me too. Nicely done.

Thanks for your comment. Yes it was very challenging at first, but I eventually smoothed it out. I play this a bit differently now.
