Magic isn't used to buy time. It's existence is that of enabling Pocky to make usage of the secret abilities. Like HammerMagic said down there, not for buying time... that'll actually hinder you.

I didn't need ALL that to kill Foxy. You'll need all that for the very ending of the game, and for the Flying Dragon quest, as it's harder to dodge attacks during those battles... Just throwing your partner, and dodging are essential in this battle. I beat Foxy with all my armour before, meaning I didn't need it. : P

The trick with magic is that it gives you special abilties. When using it with Rocky, it allows you to find hidden items, ninjagirl lets you open chests without keys, bomber joe lifts boulders etc etc

This game sucks compared to Pocky & Rocky 1, it's also for SNES. This game just doesn't give the same feeling as the first one.

To defeat Foxy you MUST ABSOLUTELY power Pocky. You want to put armor, rabbit ears, and MUST power up her cards, without all of these items Foxy will kill you. And always throw your partner at him because it will save you the trouble of trying to damage him with just Pocky's attacks.

The whole trick with the magic is to power up your attacks or save Pocky from dying alot. Level 3 is a bit tricky and it took me a few tries but I got to the part with the dragon and on that level I died...ALOT.

This game is indeed fun, and levil 3 is annoying... i think its Lv 8 or 9... the one before the last levil where you ride with the dragon. that is SOLID. took me hours to beat the damed thing... and wahts the point of magic? I could never understand it... Meh... last boss is pretty easy in comparison which is... dissopointing... i wanna play dis game now!
