  • This video analysis is pure therapy for you, Tryfon, isn't it? It's like talking to your mum when something has gone wrong... :-)

  • @pbrynild Yes I felt gutted, and I thought the video might help to do a proper post mortem.... :)

  • We all want to see you climb those 30 points over 2200 again. You always talk about not knowing the theory of many openings, why not make like a russian and work like a dog on it?

  • @Orgyilkos black Dosent take after rc8 he plays rc3 and if nxc3 then he promotes

  • Very interesting analysis - thanks for posting. I've thrown games away like this probably many more times than you have :-( Endgames are so much trickier than they first appear... and the problem I often get is that I try to play them with very little time left....

  • May we call you OpportunityCrusher from now on? ;-)

  • @kingscrusher Pls, reply why is my logic mistaken :S Or engine check it, I dont have the tools :(

  • 1:39 In the end when ur knight was forking the king and the rook, why didnt u sacrifice the knight and play Rc8? I guess you could have at least drawn it... If Kxd5 then simply Rxc2 winning the pawn, b3, Rc8 Re5, f4 Re4, f5 Rc4, Rb8 Kc5, f6 Rc3+, WHITE SEEMS TO WIN THIS lol :DD

  • Don't feel too bad, we all make mistakes sometimes.

I do feel you would benefit from practicing your end games, in particular rook and pawn endings. From watching your 5 minute matches, it seems to me you you end up losing a fair share of them, or win on time.

  • End games are really unforgiving aren't they! Chin up, you played very well in the late middle game though, cheers Crush.

  • OMG What a Tragic Loss! I feel your pain. TY for posting, it can't be easy to share this. Shows character. I recall the classic advice, "Past pawns must be pushed." Those Qbits must pale to insignificance after this bitter defeat.
