I missed the actual moment this was broadcasted. But when I heard the next day they cut Donna Davis, I WAS FLOORED! Action News 5 quickly became Action Dudes 5!

Joe and Donna made a great team. It was sad that they let her go. Bill Lunn, morning anchor, was also fired. I'm surprised Joe Birch didn't get into trouble for commenting on Donna's lay-off.

Joe Birch and Donna Davis are class acts, almost hallmarks of what broadcasting should be in Memphis. Too bad they started layoffs at the top instead of the bottom.
