This day came just one day after Vortex 2 ended ironically enough. Dave and I left Childress, TX early that morning and drove straight into Kansas in the hopes of seeing some great storms. We were not dissapointed! This storm produced a brief, but beautiful elephant trunk tornado right off Route 160 near the town of Ulysses, KS.

Please rate and subscribe to my channel if you like my video! I'll be posting a lot more storm vids over the coming weeks/months!

  • That looks like a Stove Pipe Tornado

  • @interstateruler Almost but not quite. Stovepipe tornadoes are a little bit fatter than this one. Still a beauty none the less! Thanks for watching!

  • Holy shit that tornado has to be at least 30miles wide

  • @wowthatwasloud Got lots of hail damage! lol...thanks for watching and commenting!

  • Hell Yeah . Love the Hail Damage on the hood too lol

  • The forecast for that day wasn't very good at all for tornadoes. All the parameters came together at the last minute. Most chasers that day would have been happy just to see some nice storms on the high plains. The fact that a very short lived beautiful tornado did form was certainly icing on the cake. For me at least, I'm happy whether I see a tornado, or just a great lightning show. But yes, the tornado is definitely the ultimate goal for sure. Thanks for watching, commenting and subscribing!!
