@rainbowsalads Ah, that's for the Renault. You can't swap the Tesla Roadster battery in 1.10 seconds, not even with a robot. Well, if they built a Terminator robot, then maybe...

officially in operation in Israel.
if it interests you? Search for swap stations and try to understand how viable it is?

@rainbowsalads Are you talking about fantasy or present reality? I have seen the process of the Tesla Roadster battery replacement, and it takes hours with a fork lift and special brackets in a Tesla service center. I agree that it would be nice to have a battery that could be swapped more easily. I've even imagined the possibility myself like the propane tank exchange that you see at grocery stores and hardware stores. Propane isn't exactly safe. A fully-charged 200kW battery can kill.

@CynthiaBlanchard betterplace already have battery swap stations in operation where you drive in and within aprox 1.10 seconds the battery is swapped , and you don't even need to get out the car to pay.

@fusionfreq It would take more time to drop and replace the battery pack than it would to simply recharge it. Hopefully, electric cars with shorter range could be designed with plug-and-play battery packs ... or a long-range vehicle like the Tesla could be designed with multiple battery packs so they can be changed more quickly (the Tesla pack has 6831 cells!).

Dear friends,
When are Tesla Electronic Commercial Airplanes
available for Airlines and private consumers?
When are Tesla Electronic Unmanned Aerial vehicles
available for United Nations, NATO and European Union Armies?
I am looking forward to hear from you soon!
Greetings,

How do you install a high powered charger?
I'm sorry guys, but did someone ditch elementary school here ?
Why the heck should charging with 15A be "potentially twice as fast" as charging with 12A at the same voltage? There really is no logical explanation for this and your own charge times shown at 1:52 do not support this ludicrous claim.
Still, this obviously silly and wrong comment is made TWICE (0:52 and 2:32) during the video.

Not all of the initial 12A make it to the battery pack. Some are making the lights flash, some are running the coolant pump, some are running the fans, and some are powering the HVAC compressor. What you're left with isn't very much, so the extra 3A at 15A can make a big difference.
