  • Rhet Stoller's 'Surf Rider' is more widely remembered in the UK as introducing and closing BBC TV's 'Wimbledon Match of the Day' during the '60s and into the '70s.

It was fronted by Harry Carpenter and David Vine with appearances by the great Dan Maskell, as well as those greats on court.

  • they used to play happy guitar as background to the trots replays on Saturday mornings (Brian Howard telefilms) in Sydney

  • Brings back the good memories of those times. Well done.

  • what a great programme it wsa, too.
