Themes from Australian Broadcasting Commision's television production "Weekend Magazine".This show was aired from 7.10pm to 7.30pm on Sundays following the News.1950's theme is "Happy Guitar" written and performed by Reg Owen and the 1960's theme is "Surf Rider" written and performed by Rhet Stoller.
The show ran until (I think) the mid 1970's.
Rhet Stoller's 'Surf Rider' is more widely remembered in the UK as introducing and closing BBC TV's 'Wimbledon Match of the Day' during the '60s and into the '70s.
It was fronted by Harry Carpenter and David Vine with appearances by the great Dan Maskell, as well as those greats on court.
