Beaver Falls Pennsylvania (Big Beaver Plaza)

Big Beaver Plaza. I came upon this little strip mall when I rolled through western Pennsylvania last summer. I stopped in the town to check it out because it is the hometown of my childhood hero Joe Namath. I thought the "Big Beaver" sign was funny.

I wish it did not look dumpy, and vacant, but it doe's to me. I apologize if I offended you, and wish I could make it up some how. Joe Namath, it's his town, I would be proud of that

ya i live here to, and clark. it did sort of sound like u were trashing it...but no worries... but that little plaza use to be busy back in the 90's when comet food store was still there. really now its just the movies...

my dad actually was the fire cheif of big beaver fire co. and was the person that had to do all of the reports about the tornado... it almost even took out my house... he still has trouble talking about it...

The tornado went through that area on May 31st, 1985. Jamesway went with it. The movie theater seems to be hanging on. There's also a swinger's club just down the road!

there was a restaraunt there? wow.nvr knew that.i think the only thing open ther now is the palace movie theatre.at least i think its called the palce haha cuz dollar general move down the street n everythin els is closed.i think haha been a wile since i been ther.

this isnt where homewood roller rink was you idiots!!!! this is where jamesway dept store was when the tornado hit. the roller rink is still there north 2 miles back from this plaza. its sadly been truned into a flee market for all the bums to ruin it..
