"Vol. 3: Caos Carma Conceito" é o título do novo álbum do UGANGA. O terceiro trabalho da carreira dos mineiros reúne as faixas Zona Árida; P.A.X.; Encruzilhada; Meus Velhos Olhos De Enxergar O Mal (2 Lobos); Iso 666; Velas; Asas Negras; Sua Lei, Minha Lei; Milenar; O Primeiro Inquilino; Fronteiras Da Tolerância; "3XC" e "Kali-Yuga".

As gravações e mixagem foram realizadas no Orbis Estúdio (Violator, DFC, Israel Vibration, Rumbora) no Distrito Federal junto com o produtor Riti Santiago (ex-Câmbio Negro). A masterização foi feita na Alemanha no Music Lab Studio pelo conceituado produtor Harris Johns, responsável por alguns clássicos imortais da história do rock/metal como "Pleasure To Kill" (Kreator), "Killing Technology" (Voivod), "Persecution Mania" (Sodom), "Live" (Cro Mags), além de "Brasil" e "Anarkophobia" do Ratos de Porão e "Under Siege" do Sepultura, apenas para citar alguns.

Em "Vol. 3: Caos Carma Conceito" o UGANGA continua explorando sua identidade musical, porém com uma dose extra de peso e agressividade. Nas letras, reflexões filosóficas, autoconhecimento e dilemas humanos, como a faixa O Primeiro Inquilino que em mais de sete minutos descreve fatos de um assassinato (essa é a primeira parte da história que contará com mais outras duas em futuros trabalhos).

"Vol. 3: Caos Carma Conceito" também traz vários convidados especiais como o guitarrista Fábio Jhasko (ex-Sarcófago) tocando violino, e o rapper X (ex-Câmbio Negro).

UGANGA has been on the road for 15 years now. The band was formed in Minas Gerais state, home of Sepultura, Sarcófago, Overdose and other legendary Brazilian metal/rock bands.

The band did release five recordings so far (two demos and three full-lenghts) and also collaborated in many compilations. UGANGA has also been touring in Brazil, doing some important festivals and playing with various artists like Paura, DFC, Garage Fuzz, Racionais MCs, B. Negão, Dr. Sin, Dead Fish, Deceivers, Forgotten Boys, Patife Band, Krow, Tequila Baby and many others.

UGANGAs musical universe is based upon the crossover between thrash metal and hardcore with some dub atmospheres, hip-hop samplers/scratches and groove. The lyrics bring philosophical reflections, self-realization and human dilemmas. UGANGA had always a very good exposure on Brazilian press. The band were the cover story of the 103 issue of the respected Dynamite magazine and always got very good reviews, articles and interviews on other publications such as Roadie Crew, Rock Hard-Valhalla, Comando Rock, Punknet, Whiplash, Metal Head, MTV Brazil, Rock Post, etc which made UGANGA very popular in Brazil.

After some line-up changes, UGANGA is now formed by Christian (guitars), Thiago (guitars and vocals), Ras (bass and vocals), Marco (drums) and by the vocalist Manu Joker, Sarcófagos former drummer. The Brazilian DJ Vouglas is responsible for the electronic effects on gigs and recordings.



THE NEW ALBUM VOL. 3: CAOS CARMA CONCEITO




"Vol. 3: Caos Carma Conceito" is the title of new UGANGA's album. This is the third release of the band and brings the following tracklist: Zona Árida; P.A.X.; Encruzilhada; Meus Velhos Olhos De Enxergar O Mal (2 Lobos); Iso 666; Velas; Asas Negras; Sua Lei, Minha Lei; Milenar; O Primeiro Inquilino; Fronteiras Da Tolerância; "3XC" and "Kali-Yuga".

The recordings were completed at Orbis Studios with the experienced Brazilian producer Riti Santiago, who also did the mix. The mastering was made in Germany at Music Lab Berlin by the worldwide famous producer Harris Johns, responsible for the production of some immortal rock/metal classics such as "Pleasure To Kill" (Kreator), "Killing Technology" (Voivod), "Persecution Mania" (Sodom), "Live" (Cro Mags), and also Brasil and Anarkophobia from Ratos de Porão and Under Siege from Sepultura, just to mention a few.

With "Vol. 3: Caos Carma Conceito", UGANGA keeps exploring it's musical identity with much more heaviness and aggression. The album also brings very special guests such as Fábio Jhasko (ex-Sarcófago) and the Brazilian famous rapper X (ex-Câmbio Negro).
