I think a jumbie is a ghost of some sort... like the dancer is supposed to get possessed by a jumbie. Or maybe I have no idea what I'm talking about. Someone correct me. lol
There's another thing caled mocko jumbie it's like an african martial arts introduced in the Caribbean, it has acrobatics etc and is danced at carnival.
