XCOM UFO Defense Enemy Unknown Challenge Series: Medium Scout First Mission Strategy Guide Tutorial Walkthrough Tips Tricks
This mission might seem like careful exploration but these untested troops had only one thing going for them, that they reacted quickly to sighting aliens. I wont post every mission but I will show a mission to include every UFO encountered except the Small Scout. I'll continue to upload a series of recorded gameplay (edited) showing my attempt to beat the game as quickly as possible without cheating plus exposing tricks and tactics I have developed over the years of playing the game. In 2007 it was selected as best PC game of all time by the staff of IGN. I never tire from playing it and there is always some tech guy out there making a way to keep playing it on faster and faster machines. I'll be focusing on early mind control and accomplishing the final mission without bringing ANY WEAPONS, only PSI-AMPS. If you enjoy strategy and tactical turn based games or movies like District 9 I recommend this game STILL SOLD TODAY at places like Steam. Tell me that isn't impressive considering that it was released in 1993. My posts will include my editing music that fits the game: electronic, sci-fi, creepy, suspense, dark drones and many more influences. Comments including how fast you beat the game are welcome. • @ziocody where are u from?

  • @MrEdgariuxxx United States, I can be more specific but the views of these videos come in from around the world. Yourself?

  • hey few questions about the game:

my pc is quite old and still the UFOgold version runs too quick on it and it's hard to play so what do you do about that?

second-do you have good guide for begginers?

  • @ramivei Does the sped-up gameplay happen while viewing Earth or during a ground mission, or both? There are ways to slow down older games but XCOM has controls for timelapse while viewing Earth. You can also slow down the movement and animation during the ground mission through settings, found under the ? tab. As for a guide, I actually own the old David Ellis Official Guide printed in 1995! For a free guide that is just as good, go to xcomufo dot com and there is a guide there.

  • Don't agree with the save system, takes away all the tension and makes it like building a spreadsheet were all the math is right! Other than that - I agree with the strategy.

  • expert game. the game is tough throughout, but the Ethereals pose a real challenge.

someone should bring the Xcom game to the 21st century. the UFO series is not the same.

  • HIDDEN MOVEMENT

  • @MrEdgariuxxx Terror from the deep, and apocalypse, but keep in mind that xcom apocalypse is really different and it takes time to get used to it, be sure to read the manual before playing.

  • @ziocody Im from lithuania its near poland but were cooler :D in my opinion :D so i play this game too and its cool... What other parts yo suggest me to play when i finish enemy unknow ? :D

  • In superhuman I save the game only when the skyranger is on base. This way the game is super-scary. The first missions my goal is to kill 2 or 3 sectoids and get the f*** out there with some corpses and weapons and do some research. Arm the soldiers with heavy weapons (I love rockets!) and do some "blind fire" where the "camera move". There is always a soldier, named "Runner" and his mission is to abort (run away) if everything goes bad :(

    (the skyranger worth it!!!)

  • I say we nuke 'em from orbit.

  • @Smegma007 I suspected havng both hands full lowered accuracy and I was aware that reacting, even without hitting during return fire, helped reactions overall. However, I never put the two together for training. Thanks for that because I'm always looking to get reactions as high as possible.
