The Hugo is the world's most prestigious science fiction award. 39 feature films had won for Best Dramatic Presentation by 2010. Works of science fiction and fantasy are elligible for nomination. (This avoids messy debates about whether or not a work is really science fiction.) The music is the Blade Runner theme by Vangelis.
The films are:
The Incredible Shrinking Man
Dr. Strangelove
2001: A Space Odyssey
A Clockwork Orange
Slaughterhouse-Five
Sleeper
Young Frankenstein
Boy and His Dog
Star Wars
Superman
Alien
The Empire Strikes Back
Raiders of the Lost Ark
Blade Runner
Return of the Jedi
2010: The Year We Make Contact
Back to the Future
Aliens
Princess Bride
Who Framed Roger Rabbit
Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade
Edward Scissorhands
Terminator 2: Judgment Day
Jurassic Park
Contact
The Truman Show
Galaxy Quest
Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon
Lord of the Rings: The Fellowship of the Ring
Lord of the Rings: The Two Towers
Lord of the Rings: The Return of the King
The Incredibles
Serenity
Pan's Labyrinth
Stardust
WALL-E
Moon
Blade Runner soundtrack is wonderful. There are a few movies on their list that I would have to question.

@floridafyme Yes, the Hugos aren't a perfect list, but they tend to be better predictors of good SF than Rotten Tomatoes or the Saturn Awards, or the American Film Institute (all of which chose ET over Blade Runner).
