I liked this movie too. Statham got a pretty good charakter... but I liked Tyrese Gibsons charakter "Machine Gun Joe" more. And another thing I like in movies as in video games is the following: the black guy who appears to be the antagonist, becomes the good buddy :) As it shoud be!!!! :)

i loved this movie also! anything Jason Statham is in that has little or no mushy, mushy in it is awesome, i think. i love his body & his driving. BTW his bday is 9-12!!!!

Yea uh they should just rename this movie "Prison Race by a Guy Looking for Vengance" or something and make a real re-make of the original Death Race 2000. Something that get's the point of the humor and absurdity of running over people for points in a sporting event.

I think many are comparing this as a remake to Death Race 2000, which is ashamedly waaaaaay offf. More like 'Death Sport' or Running Man - but maybe retitled as 'Driving Man' for this piece of crap. This movie works best as a DVD coaster in a Mormon whorehouse, and that's about it.
