New Delhi: The 20th convocation of the Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU) concluded here today.
Prof. R. Natarajan, former Chairman of AICTE and former director of the Indian Institute of Technology, Madras delivered the convocation address at the occasion.
Prof. Natarajan spoke on "Technology-Enabled Teaching-Learning in Distance Education".
Gold Medals were conferred on 63 students. Degrees, Diplomas and Certificates were conferred on 1,37,169 students who have passed their Master, Bachelor and Diploma examinations held in December 2007 and June 2008.
The convocation ceremony was also organized simultaneously at its 36 regional centres through the teleconferencing mode.
