very weird technique with the thumb but hey...what ever works. good job.

For sure, he would def get more "power" on the neck with his thumb behind the neck. I know it feels comfortable fir single position riffing to do that, but when u have to move it pays to have ur thumb behind. Or so I think.

coming from somebody who just started learning this, great job! i was bummed you bailed on the solo, but i know how hard it is. i agree, repost when you get the solo down.
